My favourites from the Mulberry S/S 11 Tillie-family. I am so looking forward to the Mulberry-show at London Fashion Week.
Here is my new Chanel baby, a 2010 Chanel Jumbo in caviar leather with silver hardware. It´s so gorgeous and I love it. But it´s quite hard to snap pictures of it because the leather reflects light, so I have captured it in two different light-settings. Will do a comparison picture between this one and my vintage Jumbo XL.
Look at my new darling! Just bought this bag and can’t wait to get it. It’s a 2010 Jumbo with caviar leather and silver hardware. I must mention that I sould my large flap to buy this one instead. I can’t fit anything in the large flap, and I feel bad just storing it away in my closet! Think this one will make good friends with the Jumbo XL I already have.

If you ask a girl which bag is her dream-bag, most of the would answer ´´A Chanel´´. It was my dream-bag too, and it still is, but now I have now two in my collection.
Chanel Jumbo XL. First I bought the L, but was very disappointed when it arrived. It was too small! It looks big, but it does not have that much room. It was also in terrible condition, so I shipped it back and decided to go XL. I purchased mine at eBay and it is black lambskin and gold hardware. I would say it rates 9,8/10. Excellent condition, no flaws. This is my favorite bag in my collection, but unfortunately it spends a lot of time in my closet. I do not wear it where it is crowded, I only use it when the weather is good and it is kinda heavy when it is full, luckily I can wear it cross-over. But I also wanted a caviar bag with silver hardware, so I bought the..
Chanel Large 2.55. I had search eBay for month for a caviar 2.55 with silver hardware, at a reasonable price, but nothing to be found. So I decided to buy it at the Chanel-store in London, in medium. But when I saw the medium it was TINY, could probably fit only my wallet+phone, so I chose the large one instead. Even though it says large, do not be fooled, it is small. Fits only my wallet,phone,small digital camera and a lipstick. Caviar is a bit more expensive than lambskin, but it is tougher than lambskin, so I think it is more appropriate for everyday-use. Silver hardware is also a bit more expensive than gold hardware, but again, I think it is more appropriate for everyday-use and I think it looks better along with caviar.

How to afford the bag of my dreams?
If you really want it, you will have it. For the Jumbo I decided to go on eBay, since the old Jumbos looks so much better AND eBay is more affordable. There are so many great Chanel bags on there, in all sorts of conditions, colors and shapes. You could easily snagg off a Jumbo for $1000(5800nok) or less.
It is important to NOT buy the first and best you find, it is easy to regret your choice when you find another bag you´d wish you bought instead. So my tip is, whilst you are saving up money, figure out which bag you want. And also, spend those extra $ to get a bag in reasonable condition. You will not regret it. There are so many cheap ones available, but the condition is HORRIBLE. And ALWAYS get the bags authenticated at The Purse Forum, they will tell you wheter it is authentic or not, and how the condition rates. What´s great about Chanel bags is that they are so timeless! As long as you treat them good, you could probably sell them at a price close to what you paid for it yourself.
To finance the Jumbo, I wished for money during Christmas and my birthday. I was also on a shopping-ban for four months. Think of this: How much money you use on impulse shopping pr.month? Buying things you will probably never use, or just because it was on sale. I bet it is quite a bit. And not to mention eating take-out/partying. I saved approx.$260(1500nok) pr.month! When I had saved up enough money, I spent a lot of time on eBay looking for the bag in the right condition and at the best price. I snagged this one at a REALLY good price.
When I decided to buy the 2.55 I already had a quite big designer bag/shoes collection. So I sold the other small Chanel I had at that time, and that was 50% of what I needed to buy the 2.55. So I sold one more bag. And a couple of shoes. And I wished for money during Christmas. And I got discounts at the Chanel-store.
